Children’s homes

Calm Care, residential care is never seen as a last resort. Our children’s homes are safe, nurturing environments where young people can feel secure, create happy memories, and develop the life skills they need for independence.

Independent Domestic Abuse Advisors

Calm Care, we provide confidential, compassionate, and professional support to individuals experiencing domestic abuse. Our team of Independent Domestic Abuse Advisors (IDVAs) work closely with clients to ensure their safety, wellbeing, and access to justice.

If you feel afraid and unsafe, our specialist staff can support you over the phone or in person. They’ll listen without judgement and won’t force or rush you into making any decisions.

Support Into Employment

Calm Care,believe that meaningful employment can transform lives and build independence. Our Support Into Employment service helps individuals prepare for the workplace by developing practical skills, boosting confidence, and offering tailored guidance. From CV building and interview preparation to work placements and ongoing mentoring, we ensure that each person is equipped to achieve their career goals. Our compassionate team walks alongside every individual, empowering them to find not just a job, but a pathway to long-term success and self-reliance

Safe Steps

Calm Care’s Staying Close service helps young people transition from residential care or supported accommodation to independent living with confidence. We empower them to plan for a brighter future while guiding the professionals in their lives to nurture meaningful relationships and support opportunities that matter most to them.

Return Home Interviews

A child runs away from home or care — often a clear signal that something is seriously wrong. At Calm Care, we support children, young people, and their caregivers to understand the underlying issues and prevent repeat episodes. Most of the young people we work with are either in care or on the edge of the care system, where timely and compassionate intervention can make all the difference

Get Into Work

Following the success of the Isle of Man’s Support into Employment service, the Get into Work Pilot Project has been launched across Calm Care’s UK services. The aim of this initiative is to deliver a specialised outreach programme that equips young people with real opportunities for employment, work experience, and the development of essential employability skills — helping them build a foundation for long-term success.

Therapeutic Support – UK Wraparound

Our in-house therapeutic team plays a vital role in supporting both young people and staff. They help ensure that our staff can work effectively with young people while also recognising the importance of staff wellbeing.The team brings together a range of specialist approaches, including Art Psychotherapy, Attachment Theory, Systemic Psychotherapy, Addiction Support.

Learning Support UK – PULSE

We believe that attending mainstream education should be the standard expectation for most young people in our supported accommodation. However, we also understand that some may arrive having missed significant time in school or not attending regularly. For these individuals, we ensure each day is full and purposeful, offering educational activities tailored to their needs and delivered at a pace that is both appropriate and sustainable

Secure care home

Calm Care’s secure care home on the Isle of Man challenges traditional views of secure accommodation. Through a social pedagogic approach, we place young people at the heart of our practice — empowering staff to build their confidence, strengthen their self-belief, and support their successful reintegration into the community

Outreach services

Calm Care provides specialist support services across the Isle of Man, working within the community to deliver care that is tailored to the unique needs of each child and young person.
In some cases, a young person may be on the edge of care and simply need the right support to stay safely at home — without the disruption of entering the care system
